LOOKING FOR ADVOCATES, LEADERS, SUPPORTERS
The PTA Council of Howard County is accepting
nominations of people willing to serve in elected position for the
next school year: president, executive vice president, vice president
of issues, vice president of operations, recording secretary,
corresponding secretary, and treasurer.
A nominee for an elected position must be a local PTA member
and have served for one year on a local PTA executive board.
To submit a potential nominee, email the
person’s name, phone, and email address and what PTA they are from
to ptachc@gmail.com.
The nominating committee will contact the individual.

MD PTA MEMBERSHIP
Reminder: All
PTA memberships that have been sold this year and all unsold
membership cards must be returned to MD PTA by March 31.
The Treasurer and the Membership Chair should get together and
complete the invoice that came with your membership cards back in
August and send in the dues (if you have not been doing this monthly
as suggested) and return all unsold cards.
PERSONAL PROPERTY RETURNS: Also, PTAs must
file a Personal Property Return by April 15.
All PTAs are incorporated entities and this is required.

Some important things to know
in completing the return:
The ID # prefix is “D”
The Federal Principal
Business Code is: 81300
If the answer to C Section 1
is “No” complete questions D in Section 1 and skip Section
II (2)
Section III (3) on page 3
must be completed
Sign and date the return,
make a copy for your files and mail the document to the address on the
top of the form
